26 Years of Association!
The National Housing Corporation (NHC) Barbados first decided to go Buckingham in 1995, and their latest addition is seen here - a Mitsubishi Fuso (supplied via Simpson Motors) 6x4 chassis mounted Vacuum Cesspool Tanker, complete and ready for despatch to docks and shipping. The specification for this 11,000L tanker includes a full diameter rear door, top inspection hatch, PTO driven 210 cfm exhauster pump, 3” rear door mounted inlet/outlet valves and plenty of storage for hoses etc.
Yet another example of an existing client staying with Buckingham. It just seems to happen time and time again!
So, Interesting that 1995 saw our first tanker supplied to NHC…yes 26 years ago! The specification then was a 1,200g imperial gallon Leyland Comet 4x2 mounted vacuum cesspool tanker, with rear and top mounted hatches, 141 cfm exhauster pump driven via separate Lister Petter diesel engine, 3” inlet/outlet valves and an interesting addition being a trailer mounted Gilkes ‘trash’ pump, to assist with long pulls for inaccessible septic tanks.
