We've now built four tankers for Redstripe Environmental Services, each to different specifications but all finished in the same splendid metallic blue and red Redstripe livery. This one could not be more comprehensive - a Mercedes 6x2 mounted 3,500 gallon stainless steel non hazardous vacuum sludge tanker including a 500 gall fresh water compartment, PED compliant for working at 1 bar over pressure, front end tipping gear, top hinged rear door with hydraulic assistance including the open/close clamping, hydraulically driven 350 CFM exhauster and water pump, the latter with a 30‘ x 1” bore water wash hose reel that is also hydraulically driven. Ancillary equipment reads full length hose trays, stainless steel hose hooks, stainless tool box, traffic cone, shovel and brush holders, reversing camera, and then this lighting arrangement …. 4 x LED strobe lights, 4 x LED red lights and 4 x LED amber lights all mounted on a semi- ring on the back door, 4 x LED work lights and 4 x LED marker lights.

14,700 litre Demountable Vacuum Sludge Tanker with Water, all to the similar specification as already described but without the full rear door facility and tipping, and the essentials now both driven via a separate electric start diesel engine, all mounted on an ISO 20’ container subframe with twist lock sockets. The trailer assembly and wind up demount legs being supplied by the client.

Another 3,500 gallon combination Vacuum Sludge and Water Tanker, again all to a very similar specification to the previous 6x2 Mercedes mounted tanker, but with a rear manhole in lieu the full rear door options and a non tipper.

Brining up the Redstripe quartet is this demountable combination 9,000 litre Vacuum Sludge Tanker with Water, again all similar to before and mounted on a subframe to suit an Adcliffe demount bed frame, so the 4x2 Renault chassis/cab can be used for other things as well. All pumping equipment is truck chassis mounted and PTO hydraulically driven.
